Testimonials

Feb. 2008 – Canada Prospects Team Athlete – After very much deliberation, we are very excited to let you know that Krista has committed to play for the U of A Pandas next year. We would like to thank you for providing Krista with the opportunity to participate in the Volleyball Prospects team program over the past several years. The program has provided Krista with fantastic exposure, opportunity, savvy, technical development, and memories. The overall program gave her the confidence to know that she has made the very best choice, for her, to pursue her goals in education and athletics.

Kathy and I also very much appreciate the promotion that you extended on Krista’s behalf, and the advice that you provided for us over the past 2 years.

Feb. 2008 – Dear VPC, I really enjoyed the annual camp in Calgary, this was the first one that I have been to. Loads of talent seen. I found the classroom sessions to be very informative, it made me realize how much work still needs to be done, and wish I had been informed of this last year….oh well, lots of fun… The camp was also very well organized, thanks for all you do!

Needless to say we were excited to hear that your event was the same weekend we were in town and that several kids that we needed to see play were in attendance.

Feb. 2008 Dear Volleyball Prospects – Just a brief note to thank you for this past weekend in Barrie. Our daughters Tori and Lauren had a very exciting (and exhausting) time and both enjoyed themselves immensely. This was our first exposure to this type of prospect camp and we all came away with a greater understanding and appreciation of the road ahead.
Thank you again!

Feb. 2008 Dear VPC Good to see you over the weekend. The event was done well and you made it easy for the college coaches to get a good look at all of the players. Your highlight tape was done really well, you’re doing a great job promoting your players and giving them options to look at for college.

April 2007 – Dear Volleyball Prospects
The exposure my daughter Lucy Charuk received at the Jan. 07 Prospects Camp led directly to numerous opportunities both in Canada and the U.S. As a result, she has signed with a Div. 1 program at the University of Houston. The whole experience has been like a dream for all of us because before the camp Lucy was a relatively unknown player. Without the Volleyball Prospects program none of this would have been possible. The Prospects Camp opened up a whole world of opportunity for our daughter.
Our whole family thanks you!
Sincerely,
Al Charuk & family, British Columbia

First of all I would like to congratulate you and your organization for hosting the 2nd Annual Volleyball Prospects Camp. I am sure every athlete and parent attending came away with a great experience and a great deal of valuable information. Your guest speakers were excellent and a good reflection of the quality of your organization. They were the ‘icing on the cake.’

Volleyball Prospects fills a huge void in helping athletes and parents better understand the process of college recruitment. I was especially impressed with the unbiased presentation of opportunities in both Canada and the US, encouraging the athletes to aspire to the next level in their volleyball career whether that be at their local college across town or the university in another part of Canada or the US.

By providing unbiased information, it empowers the student athlete to make an informed decision for both their education and athletic interests. It’s hard to argue with that when you truly have the athlete’s interest as the primary motivation.

And last, but not least, your web site deserves special recognition as an incredibly valuable source of information. It’s a well organized overview of the college recruiting process and provides an excellent starting point for every athlete and parent.

Wishing you all the best in the 2007 season.

Just wanted to drop you a quick line to say how impressed I was with your Camp this past weekend in Calgary. The level of the girls that participated was outstanding. My daughter was so excited about the level of instruction she received and hasn’t stopped talking about some of the girls she got to meet as well. The speakers you had come to talk with the ladies and parents were exceptional.

After talking with my wife about all that went on it looks like we will have to flip a coin to see who gets to go to the next camp. I want to applaud you for having the vision to do something like this that has and will benefit many players in years to come. It is long overdue.

What I would say to any parents who are on the fence and skeptical about having their children attend these camps is GET OFF!!

Don’t let the opinions of others cloud your own thoughts about what the true vision Volleyball Prospects is and that’s to help athletes and their parents make intelligent decisions for their children’s future. Believe me I WAS skeptical before attending this past weekend…..not anymore.

What Parents Had to Say:
“My daughter, Hailey Dublenko, attended the first Prospects Camp in December 2005. We were impressed with the calibre of the camp from beginning to end. The drills were set up to maximize court time; all athletes had ample opportunity to showcase their skills in a supportive, dynamic environment. Top notch facilities, dedicated and experienced drill leaders, and efficient organization contributed to a first-class camp. Athletes did not have to stand around waiting their turn or worry that their performance during one drill would be all that the recruiters would see. Capping the number of attendees and grouping by age/skill level ensured that every athlete had equal exposure.
The information presented at the camp, plus on-going support through the website, enabled Hailey to weigh the pros and cons of the numerous offers she received from Canadian and American schools, and choose the school that is the best fit for her academically, athletically, and socially. The website continues to grow, with more and more information being added to help parents and athletes navigate the often confusing world of college and university volleyball. Because of Barry and his team’s efforts to advocate in the best interest of each individual athlete, Volleyball Prospects Camp is fast becoming the premiere ID camp in North America.”

Dec. 2005 “Overall this was a first rate experience for my daughter, especially considering this was your first camp!”

What the Coaches Had to Say
“Hello! Thanks for a great weekend. Your event was fantastic. Please, let your staff know that they did a wonderful job hosting.”

“Great camp and lots of quality players available for all the coaches to see. I am sure I will get a couple of quality players from the group there.”

“I think the camp is a great idea, I can only see that it will grow over the years and that the coaches section will really blow out once they learn of what goes on up in Calgary. Count me in for next year. I really enjoyed the short period of time I had there.”

“First of all, great website! Very imformative and a fantastic recruiting resource. Everything else was first class, thanks again for having us.”

“Thanks again for a great event!”

What the Athletes Had to Say
” It was a lot of fun and I really liked all the drills and stuff. The t-shirts are real cool!”
